  • I love Evan Lysacek! :)

  • Why place such hateful comments? It's my opinion that both Evgeni and Lysacek are great skaters and very handsome;each with a different style .Doing a quad is great and making elegant+flowing moves like Evan is great as well .There is not such a big difference between gold or silver medals I myself wear silver it 's the jewelry I like.

  • @EchelonSummerAfter Vancouver Evan is relevant in US, i know he became a big star, but outside N-Am he is uninteresting. His skating is boring, isn't special, and he is too tall for figure skater. Honestly neither athlete nor artistry. But he is a good looking guy. Plushenko? He is perfect, perfect body, his looking is perfect on ice. Plushy can do everything, he is jumper dancer funny and passionate, enjoyable to watch. The ISU changed the rules,Plu won the war, the quad is very important again.

  • @lala630312 You say that, outside North America, Evan is irrelevant?? I sure bet he's relevant NOW, after Vancouver..Your comment made me laugh!

  • @agata521 Where were you when Weir was wiping the ice with Lysacek?? I actually like BOTH skaters, but the truth is clear: Johnny Weir is a very lyrical, artistic skater, with a quality to his skating, an integrity of edging and flow on the ice. Evan is technically very good, and that is where his strength lies. Me? I prefer the artistry over the quads. the new system favors Evan's style, the old one Johnnys. I LOVE Weir, and know a bit more about skating than you might like to believe.

  • @208327650 Also, you're screaming about 20 being "old" in skater terms..I think not. I've followed competitive skating probably longer than you've been alive..I would say that 25 is "old" for a skater. Most are PEAKING around 18-22 years old. And if anything after 25 is out of the question, you should speak to Plushenko, who is gunning for Sochi..where he'll be a VERY geriatric 31.And what Evan meant by the "athletic" comment is that you can be active WITHOUT being an athlete. My Mom is active.

  • @208327650 I seriously believe that Evan's "wingspan" is one of the most impressive things about him! Although I am a Johnny Weir fan (and who cares if he IS gay, BTW..) I found Evan's 2 Olympic skates to be very technically solid, and that's what the judges look for in the new system (which I think sucks canal water). NO ONE can ever take away Evgeni Plushenko's contributions to his sport..he is one of the greats...but, alas, we mortals cannot choose the champions..THEY thought Evan was better

  • @Aamesj26 Johnny may be gay, but he's also HOT, kiddo..trust me on this one..and Evan may be hot, but the "verdict is still out " about that 'gay' thing..

  • @Jeanny103 thank you!

  • @broadwaybaby194 emmm you're pathetic. Weir's fans are people who know nothing about figure skating just like him because he's cute and became sort of celebrity lately. But the fact is that Lysacek is a better skater.

  • @hefc1203 Because you are american. Outside North Am Evan is completely irrelevant.

  • i met evan in smucker's on ice in south fl and got a picture with him and he signed my phone and program book ;))) he's an amazing skater and probably my favorite.
