Dictionary of Jack: The Ism Song (original)

Up until now I hadn't made a video where I tried to sing. It probably should have stayed that way. But hey, it's my first original song.

Notes:
1. I realize most feminists don't think all men are jerks.
2. Kids, it's not right to give some one the middle finger...unless that person is Hitler.

Oh, I need to choose
Which ism to pick
So many isms
will do the trick
Theres patriotism, racism
and feminism works
if you think all men
are super-huge jerks

When it comes to religion
You can't go wrong
There's a million-billion isms
To help you find god
There's Taoism
Buddhism, Hinduism too,
And of course there's Judaism
For all the Jews.

omnism says religions are swell.
Atheism says there's no heaven or hell
Even Catholicism has its cross to bare
And there's always agnosticism
If you just don't care

In the world of politics
Ism are in need in
They'll tell you how to vote
And they'll tell you how to lead
There's Socialism, Marxism
And Capitalism bucks
And there's always anarchism
'cause government sucks.

Fascism's best
If your ruler is fair
Communism's great
If you just like to share
Even imperialism has a pace in the world
And Libertarianism is ...

Actually I don't really know what the point of libertarianism is. I think it has something to do with not wanting to pay taxes on your LSD. Any way...

When it comes to philosophy
Isms are the king
They've cornered the market
On saying what to think
There's malism, dualism
Fatalism's final
And there's always nihilism
If you're in denial

Choose materialism if you
like lots of stuff
hedonism if you
just want to $%#$
Skepticism puts all
Knowledge To the test
And egoism says that I'm the best

With all the isms
That could do the trick
I wish there was an ism
That said which ism to pick
It's for an ismism that I now call
And when I find that
I won't have to think at all
