Atlantic Monthly writer James Fallows has been living in China for the last two years. During this time, Fallows has reported on China's economic, political, and cultural transformation. In this Stanley Foundation interview, conducted in Beijing in November 2008, Fallows explores China's rise, the challenges it faces, and potential strategies for US adaptation to China's evolving role in the world. bullshit.
its actually 17% according to the cia stats website.
without china, america will collapse.
china is propping up a dead american economy.

twenty three percent is a large portion.
and they also depend on american stability so that the absurd amount of us currency they have doesn't lose value.
so, fallows doesn't really show a lack of knowledge and understanding.
i'm going to go out on a limb here and assume he has a much greater understanding than you do, or myself.

only 23% of chinas exports goes to the US.
so 77% goes to other nations.
saying china depends on the US shows lack of knowledge and understanding.
