I am fortunate to be a baby boomer growing up listening to the beatles and little Richard as they came into being.
This generation today only gets the leftovers.
To you I say:
Nan Nan Nan Nan Nan Naaaaah!

Can you imagine a title like: Muddy Waters meets the Beatles or Rolling Stones??? That's a joke!! It's almost as funny as Jimi Hendrix meets Justin Bieber!!! (Just using a little hyperbole to get my point across!!

@ensconse Who the hell cares!? You really wanna make a big deal of the title? No one can deny that the Beatles AND Little Richard are Rock and Roll GIANTS in a arena that is FULL of stars. Gotta love 'em both!

The Beatles were a new group who had a new record, Love Me Do, doing ok. They were rhrilled to meet the man most responsible for their sound - Richard and Elvis were the main inspirations. The Beatles' new Manager brought Richard to Europe so the Beatles could *support* him.
Then he toured with them from England to Germany.
It most definitely was The Beatles Meet Little Richard.
By the way, the Beatles are my favorite group.

The Beatles are my favorite musical artists, but the fact is that they (especially Paul) wanted to be Little Richard. Paul has said that all the 'woooo's and screams in their early songs (like the one right before the bridge in 'I saw Her Standing There') are pitiful attempts to imitate LR.
And, of course, Billy Preston did go on to play and record with them. 'Get Back' is the best known example.
