This depicts children at play and uses the Belfast Skipping Song 'My Aunt Jane' as its soundtrack. The tune is an arrangement by Paul McIlwaine and is played on a Recording King ROS16 acoustic guitar using DADGAD tuning. This video is dedicated to children everywhere - Long may they play!

  • I put together a little video using my latest tune 'My Aunt Jane' the video uses images of children at play in the post war era.

  • Hi Paul, congratulations on a lovely arrangement/video, you are a very talented guy. It was particularly poignant for me as i recently took video of my parents outside mersey street primary school (next to the oval) and mum, who unfortunately now is suffering from dementia, recited stories of the street games they played as kids and sang songs which were popular at that time, most notably "the day the titanic went down" .. :O). Anyways, thanks again, and best of luck.
