Ian Anderson is an elegant musician.

Martin makes the difference...strong, sharp and warm guitar line !
-
Doane Perry is a great drummer. The best in Jethro Tull since Barrimore Barlow, in my opinion.

@muzaklover78 Unfortunely, Jonathan Noyce is a modest bassist. In Bouree, for example, your solo is shy.

@muzaklover78 He mostly got the line right... the problem is his tone is so thin, that it doesn't stand out. That, and Martin has a shitload of bass in his guitar sound.

Martin Barre and Doane Perry kicks asses!

Spot on comment, the Bass was so weak and it really drives this tune

@ChrisMBerry4149 i think its there to isolate the drums a bit more to stop other instruments going in to the drum mics to create a cleaner drum sound for live situations

not only was he great at bass, he definitley had awesome showmanship; leaping about the stage like Ian, and also singing backups
-
@muzaklover78 right on - compare it to the hippodrome performance and you can really hear the lack of lower register. Even if they brought up the amp from the bassist he clips the notes at :29
WEAK WEAK bass. Oh how we miss thee John Glascock. This is not a difficult bass line to get right but it is so very crucial to the overall feel of the tune.
