The story takes place 5 years behind. When Haley and Veronica was still at high school. When all was easy for them. Logan and Veronica are best friend, but with stronger feelings who is hidden. Nathan and Haley are in love. No matter what Logan and Veronica are always there for one other. Logan ends up confessing his feelings to Veronica, but since she always have a brokenheart at the end and she is afraid to suffer again she keep her feelings for her. After, we see Nathan asking Haley to marry her.

Weeks later, Nathan learns that he has a grant to go to Duke's university where he will be able to play basketball, but Haley is inscribed to Stanford. Haley speaks about it with his sister. Veronica succeeds in taking back up her sister in a good mood until the instant she faced him again. Nathan confesses her that he will leaves no matter if she follows him or not. He leaves therefore alone for Duke's university. One month later, Haley is late and goes to the private hospital where she learns that she is pregnant. Haley teaches the news to his sister who is under the impact, but says to her that she will be always there for her.

Months later, Veronica who have never be able of confessing his feelings to Logan, finds him with another girl. This moment had hurt her more that she have expect it. She goes therefore to speak to him, a dialogue who finishes very badly for a longstanding friendship. Logan is completely lost but not has much as Veronica who regret not to have confess him about her feelings earlier.

1 years later, Veronica is victim of an agression at her university. She been discover and helped by her sister who was in a neighbouring room. ( made as Parker was Haley). After that the sisters promises to watch over one another.
