I'LL MEET YOU IN THE MORNING 1967
(Albert E. Brumley)

I will meet you in the morning by the bright riverside
When all sorrow has drifted away
I'll be standing at the portals when the gates open wide
At the close of life's long dreary day

CHORUS
I'll meet you in the morning with a how do you do
And we'll sit down by the river and with rapture old aquaintance renew
You'll know me in the morning by the smile that I wear
When I meet you in the morning in the city that's built four square

I will meet you in the morning at the end of the way
On the streets of that city of gold
Where we all can be together and be happy always
While the years and the ages shall roll

CHORUS
I'll meet you in the morning with a how do you do...

  • Fantastic! Good to hear it again. WOW x

  • Thanks for uploading. Pity it is in a different key to the music score shown ;)

  • @ohlordbabyjesus ::: Not real? Get up to date. Kubler-Ross and others who study NDEs are convinced of the reality of this continuation of life.

  • So sorry for you who think the afterlife isn't real. you have no hope for anything when you die, just death, and then nothing. I however, am gonna in that afterlife with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave His life because He loved us. I'll pray for all non believers

  • @fayeroe1009

So sad! And just think, the afterlife isn't real, so you won't actually meet them in the morning! Great song nonetheless.

  • I love you grandma! E. Bhoorasingh and the bhoorasingh family from Kemps Hill!

  • @ernst810 do you have any idea where I can get this to buy or download

  • i really really really love this song.

  • nice job!

  • I have not idea how many times I played this at funerals when I was a young girl. I can hardly hear it now without crying. My aunts and uncles, all gone.
