the 1966 Batmobile

This is a little flick with the lego replica of the 66 batmobile and how it works. this thing took me 9 years to build right,it weighs 3 pounds and is totally rc! Its pretty cool and can pull a boat! This is same model that apperard at Bricksouth last year. lego fans, dig this!!

We have been working on them --Craig, the artist, built it over and over-and recently redid the entire Batmobile to include LED lighting and a few other additions. More pictures will be posted of teh completed Batmobile. Sadly, Craig has past away, and the Bat Cave will most likely never be finished. I am trying to decipher the program for LEGO-as I learn, I will let you know.

The 55 Futura became the 1966 TV Series Batmoble (meaning the show was on in 1966--the car is not a 1966)

Craig passed away at home in November.

My favorite "Batman" episode was when Commissioner Gordon dispatched The Dynamic Duo to a peaceful town called Rock Ridge, where people lived in Harmony.

After the people were stampeded, and the cattle were raped, Gov. William J. LePetomane appointed a black sheriff, and Batman and Robin were sent to help capture a hornswagglin', sidewindin' , cruckercroaker named Mongo....
