@elfhermie They've stated many times that those types of songs don't sell well. "Go" and "Come Undone" from SFTSL were the "Hard rock guitar-driven" type songs. No one really was enthusiastic about them and they were removed from the set list. Their music nowadays really comes from the heart. It's what they want to do. They don't want to try and please every single "fan" like yourself. They're done writing High n Dry: the sequel and if you're really a fan, you'll respect that.

Who else wants to see Def Leppard go back to their roots and create original hard rock songs with sweet guitar riffs, harmonies, and solos? They tried copying themselves after Hysteria and failed. They lost tons of guy fans and many girl fans too because of this. Good music just happens. It can't be manufactured based on past success. Get back to what made you get into rock & roll, Def Leppard...creating hard driving guitar driven rock songs! Help revive the genre and yourselves!

Of course it's no where near as good as the original but not bad for a cover.Tuff nut trying to come close to Jobriath,the most underrated musical genius in the history of mankind.
