Ashanti was in the music industry before she even started making her own albums, she started as a songwriter, and plus she was J-Lo's background singer and she also wrote J-lo's "I'm Real" and Ain't it Funny." What's with some people on here downing Ashanti and I do not agree with the bad remarks towards Aaliyah either. I'm quite sure Aaliyah would not care though and I'm know Ashanti don't care about the bad remarks about her either, look at what she had/has and who she was/is.

No disrepect, but please don't talk about Aaliyah like that. Thats rude. The music industry would have been alot different if she was here today. Trust and believe me. Aaliyah was my favorite woman R&B singer before Ashanti. Don't get me wrong, I like both of these artist. But please show some respect, and too all the haters that can't stand Ashanti, like everyone else says, DON'T WATCH HER VIDEOS! Duhh!
