Crews were dispatched to a reported still alarm in the 2300 block of Massachusetts, on arrival Battalion 4 advised of a working fire in a 2 story dwelling at the corner of 24th and Massachusetts. Engine 12 brought in the hydrant and Truck 4 started opening the building. As firefighters made entry the interior flashed and they made it out by the skin on their behinds. An aggressive attack was made and the roof was opened. Nobody was hurt at the fire scene. Excellent job and everyone went home. Much love to GFD

  • You people crack me up and piss me off. Was there known life hazard in there NO could there have been YES! On ANY fire we do primary/secondary..even if a family tells us everyone is out we search every room..most of the time w/o a hose....WHY? becuz we can never be sure! What makes this different? They got on scene first and DID THEIR JOB and luckily made it out of a bad situation! If they arrived on scene and stood outside til water arrived ya'll would gripe theyre lazy, wouldnt ya! FRC-359

  • @MrPsychofire Lol, I know exactly what you mean. I laugh when I read most of these comments, then get pissed off. It's very obvious by their posts that most of the people that get on here and criticize every video they watch have little to none real world experience.

  • @oleleatherhead WTF does that have to do with the price of tea in China, I copied and pasted some suggested tags for fire videos. OK, so NYFD was one of them, shoot me. You just couldn't help yourself and had to throw your hat in the ring. People like you drive me nuts, fuckin pot stirrer is all you are

  • @mabas21 you are nuts and it is F.D.N.Y NOT NYFD. THAT RIGHT THERE SHOWS YOU DONT HAVE A CLUE....

  • all those guys in the house and nobody thought hmm house on fire we should bring a handline??? WTF

  • Was that a f/f on the delta side of the structure creating a ventilation opening while multiple f/f's were entering a heavily charged room on the alpha side without a charged hose line?

  • @firecapt3011 No you are not wasting you time, actually I appreciate your comment. This group of guys would risk their lives and give you the shirt off their backs no question asked. What irritates the piss out of me is if you watch Chicago, Detroit, Boston, or NYFD videos you see the same methods and actions in these videos. I don't understand why we are going to rip an entire dept apart and I especially hate when race is dragged in. Oh and btw, I was a volley for 7 years on an engine & truck

  • @mabas21 there is no such thing as an aggressive search and rescue..... there are primary and secondary searches. please dont confuse these young firefighters into thinking that you know what you are talking about.

futurefirefighter93 try to get advise from real firefighters. although this guy is a great video guy, he is not a firefighter and knows nothing about proper firefighting.
