This is a four-minute training film which reminds VA employees that how they approach returning Vets can make a critical difference in whether those Vets choose to receive VA benefits. The video conjures common stereotypes about VA and stresses that many of today's Vets are looking for a reason to walk away from the Department. The film stresses that employees can prevent this. "Doubts" was produced and directed by Blue Three Productions--a service-disabled, Veteran-owned business. It also uses several actual Veterans and VA employees as actors.

Good video. If only it really depicted the way the VA hospital treats patients!

GREAT video! I served in the Corps & came out with a few issues. I waited 20 years to go to VA b/c of some of the BS spewed by hater's like those below. These posers don't know VA, & clearly have an agenda. I finally went. It was 100% better than outside. This is MY hospital & they let me know it. VA medicine is like all medicine. Things go wrong sometimes. It's what they do to correct the problems that count. VA takes it seriously, & it shows. Thanks VA, for serving US Vets!

Hahahaha. Finish this ad after he says "This is ridiculous". This ad forgot - feces on the ground at the main entrance - Philadelphia PA. VA employees stealing property from vets - Hampton VA, Inability to find one (1) DOCTOR on duty from 0830 to 1200 to give a pain meds injection - Wilmington DE, Nurse telling a vet that testing found a growth in his head but no doctor is available but we'll notify you at home when you can see one - White River Junction VT. I have had mostly positive experiences at the Los Angeles VA, I've waited shorter times there than at my last active duty station and for the most part the people are friendly. I could get heath care out in town or at the local air force base, but for the drive I pick the VA and I'd rather deal with people who understand military than a civilian Dr office.

what a crock. they should show somebody losing their home because it takes a year and a half for a disability rating.

They got it right, except for the part where the doctor is actually personable. I've only gotten that kind of positive, friendly interaction from nurses and assistants - every doctor I've seen has always seemed rushed and not really there.

If it would only be like that.
