@KillerStarMan steam is awesome
-
@wwerulzs64 He wasn't talking about this particular event.
-
@Dybbuk13 no its stealing because If it says you will get this coupon when you buy this game, but when you buy it its not there thats taking away what you paid for or its false advertisment so stop kissing ass and face facts
-
Plus if they opened every copy and took the coupon out, wouldn't that make it a used game to Gamestop regulations?
-
@Dybbuk13 out of the packaging? because it is pretty obvious if it isnt in the plastic.
-
@Dybbuk13 Shut the fuck up, you asshole, it's illegal! Cunt!
-
1.35 if they take it aut !! Gunns Canadian accent
-
If the onlive code was advertised and offered, it'd be understandable but considering that it wasn't even known, nor advertised, its bogus gamestop caved and did not screw up. Square enix is at fault. Not gamestop.

Can someone explain what happened ?

I work as a cashier in an electronics store and I come across this argument quite alot. But it's because we sell some returned items at same price as a brand new item. Customers always say that it's illegal but actually it's not. Because Gamestop has already purchased the product from the developer that hold the rights to distribution, meaning they can alter the item and the price at anytime. BECAUSE the developer has already received their profit.
