ok so here's the deal i'm posting tonight b/c i dont know how much i'll be able to post in the next few weeks, the semester is ending for me so i'll prob have a lot of end of semester work and stuff then i have exams so i'll try to post when i can and i'll try to keep writing on my comp so i'll have stuff written and hopefully i'll be able to do a lot over christmas break... sorry for the long intro anyways story time! :)
Devon's P.O.V.
We finally got back to my house so that I could change. When I came back from changing we were all trying to figure out what to do next.
"I just got an idea!" Sara said suddenly excited. "We can go to..."
"Oh my God yes! That's..." I started
"Perfect!" Sam finished for me.
"Wait what? Did I miss something?" Kevin asked.
"I'm so confused. I think my brain's starting to hurt," Nick added.
"Guys, do you really not understand? It's so simple," Joe commented.
"Really?!" Nick and Kevin said giving him puzzled looks.
"Of course. We're gonna go to a place that has a pool, a beach, gym, and restaurant. It's like a really nice hotel, but Devon has a membership there and we can hang out there for the day. Please tell me I'm right," Joe said.
"Uh, yeah you are. That's kinda creepy," Sam said.
"Yeah it is. I was gonna say that you guys knowing what each other was thinking was weird, but kinda cool, but Joe knowing is just so much stranger, I mean Joe's usually confused," Kevin said.
"Hey, I have my moments," Joe replied.
"How did he know that?" I whispered to Sam and Sara.
"Maybe he's psychic and can read minds," Sara whispered back.
"Yes I can, now you know my secret," Joe said suddenly.
"Creepy," we all said looking at each other.
We all went to get our bathing suits and change and soon we were at the resort/hotel/beach/whatever you want to call it. The last time I had been here was on Senior Skip Day and I spent the whole day with my friend going in between the two pools and hot tub. We found a parking spot and started walking towards the pool.
"Hey, isn't this where we stayed when we came here before?" Nick asked.
"Yeah it is, I actually really liked this place, it's nice. I didn't know you lived in the same town we stayed in before," Kevin said.
"You stayed here!" Sam said/screamed.
"Man, we live 10 minutes away and we didn't know. Darn," Sara said.
"I know, we totally missed our chance to be stalkers," I added. "This is quite upsetting." After I said this I saw Kevin, Nick, and Joe all looking at me strangely. "What? I didn't mean in a creepy way. I meant stalking as in completely normal, 'coincidentally' running into you guys stalking, nothing odd, creepy, or sketchy about it."
"Um, okay, whatever," Joe said.
"I don't know if that's even possible to stalk someone in a non-creepy way," Nick said.
"Of course it is," I said laughing. I could tell they were all still a little sketched out about the whole stalking them thing. All it was that if I knew they were staying there I would have gone there to see if they were around, it's not like I would have waited there the whole day/night to see them, or would I... I wouldn't have been alone either. Sam and Sara would be right there next to me. I am not weird, trust me, okay maybe a little, but that's normal right? Plus if your favorite celebrities were staying 10 minutes from your house, in the same town you live in, wouldn't you go try to see them?
"Okay, Devon is not a crazy stalker and there is nothing you should be worried about, she won't come hunt you down or anything," Sam said coming to my defense.
"Good, because I don't think being best friends with a stalker is necessarily a good idea," Nick said laughing.
"Thanks," I said to Sam. "Don't worry about the whole stalking thing, I was totally joking," I added to Nick, Joe, and Kevin.
"Were you?" Joe laughed. By this time we had reached the pool. I showed the lady my card and we all found chairs by the pool to lay out our stuff.
