A Shia Muslim is questioned about his beliefs in shia religion. reply for Busticate continued from below: The Islam we (the world) have is the essential truth, not the whole truth. Despite this The truth of Islam with us as compared to other faiths is obvious and internally the truth of the school of ahlulbayt (as) over others is also obvious from what we do have. The holy prophet (saww) left us with the whole truth (flawless leaders in the 12 Imams and Lady Fatima(s) and the holy Quran). However, we chose to kill the living Qurans, betray them, ignore them, hide them, not to look for them and so the 14th (as) was veiled till we change. Crossroads only come around so often. Every breath is a step closer to death. The sooner one sees the truth of Islam as to what's out there, the more meaningful/peaceful things become and the bigger amends they can make. So the sheikhs and others have not been able to convince you, but is that your fault for wanting others to convince you? You need to want to convince yourself, my friend. What scientist in their right mind says case closed? Once your at that stage you need to then 'keep the company' of the 12 imams. Read their words. Their words are freedom.
If God has blessed you with means then why not visit Imam Hussain (as) in Karbala, if needs be as a tourist wanting the truth. If you are living not dead and you read about Imam Hussain (as) or watch some videos in youtube, you cannot help but admire and be grateful for what he(as) did for humanity. Why not go there (as a student of history if needs be, not a Muslim and label-less) and stand by his grave and say:
'I have simply come to thank you as a human. I am told that you're a divinely appointed Imam, but I never met you. I am told that this is the visiting place of angels, but your father said the difference between the truth and falsehood is four fingers (the distance between the ears and eyes or being told and seeing for yourself') I can not see them. I am told that in the earth of your resting place is cure, but my heart is still ill. I am told that all will come to an end but Karbala will be raised whole, but I do not believe in the end. I am told that you are alive, but I have no proof. Speak to me if you are alive. I am told that the scholars are your ambassadors but I have had to sidestep the ones I have met to reach you and I complain that your name is used by them to abuse the masses, I complain to you of what I know of them. Now with tall walls they have begun to wall you, in the name of progress, I am a simple man who read that you said 'if you are not religious be noble in your ways', I understood this and hence have willingly travelled many miles to thank you for your sacrifice and say that although I do not believe in what I have not seen, I detest what they did to you and wash my hands from them. So thank you Imam Hussain, indeed you were noble in your ways. I wish I could have met you, and this land bears witness that I tried to. May you rest in eternal peace. I was also told that you are a reflection of God's Generosity, eternal ownership of His domain is with you, but the distance of four fingers tells me that I am leaving empty handed and as such I will now pay my respects to your sister in Syria and say to her that what they told me about your brother remains unproven. Then I will return home. I will return to my 'peaceful life' and my dear ones and I will say I have been to see a great man and his great sister, but my heart is here and I am happy with my lot. Farewell Imam Hussain, I was told you were a manifestor of wonders, so I thought I would come and see. I am simple man Imam Hussain. I was told that if I looked, listened and cast my mind back in time I would see you as you gave all for your beliefs, the sublime teacher of humanity, yet I have looked and that too in your land, but remain unchanged. But then your lawyer wise men hedging their bets told me that you are the master of hearts that have been made tender by tears for you and as I have not cried much for you, though I did shed a tear for the plight of a father as he watched his 6 months old child denied water and then slaughtered, I am not 'in tune with you' and hence my hearts chains and my impure vision kept me from you. So the blame I with me. However was it not a Jihad for an ignorant to leave his living room to come to you,. Are you not of those who are satisfied with small actions and forgive much? I am a simple man Imam Hussain and I know the greatness of a teacher is not in the results of disciplined elite students, but rather how he was able to elevate the sluggard ignorant, and thus I will look at those results. Farewell Imam Hussain..
You may be dead and not want2explore the science of Karbala but others out there may prefer life, hence why this not a private email.

  • @ViciousBeats16 Look up "Gadir Khum" on google, sahih bukhari, or sahih muslim. This is even mentioned in the Quran. And also prove to me that abu bakar was the successor of the prophet. Only a few amount of shias cut themselves so don't generalize. Salat tarawih is not sunna, so why do you do it? Plus much more...But your right, shia and sunni are brothers and no one can make us enemies. :)

  • @Jaffacakez13 that post was meant to help you refute the enemies of the Ahlulbayt (pbut) who say that shimr (la) was , nazoballah, shia. It clearly cites historical narrations that identify yazeed (la) as the one who ordered shimr (la) to murder Maula Hussain (as).

  • 189. من كتاب المحاسن: عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: إنّ أبي كان يقول: ما شيٌّ أقرّ لعين أبيك من التّقيّة، إنّ التّقيّة جُنّةٌ للمؤمن

189- In Al-Mahasin it is narrated that Imam Sadiq (alaihi salam) said that his father used to always tell him: “Nothing is more pleasing for your father than taqiyah. Indeed concealing faith is a believer’s armor.”

  • 187. وعنه عليه السلام قال: لا خَيرَ فيمن لا تقيّة له، ولا إيمان لمن لا تقيّة له.

187- Imam Sadiq (alaihi salam) said: “There is no good in one who doesnot have taqiyah. And there is no faith in one who doesn’t have taqiyah” [Mishkhat al Anwaar]

  • @Jaffcakez,

    184. من كتاب التّقيّة للعيّاشي: قال الصادق عليه السلام: لا دين لمن لا تقيّة له، وإنّ التّقيّة لأوسع ممّا بين السّماء والأرض.

184- In Taqiyah by Ayashi it is narrated that Imam Sadiq (laihi salam) said: “There is no religion in that who have no taqiyah. And indeed the practice of concealing faith is more extensive than whatever exists between the Heavens and the Earth.”

  • @Jaffcakez, here is proof:

    174. عن بشير قال: قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام سمعتُ أبي يقول: لا والله؛ ما علىَ الأرض شيٌء أحبّ إليَّ من التقيّة، يا حبيب، إ....

174- Bashir narrated that Imam Sadiq (alaihi salam) reported on the authority of his father (alaihi salam): “I swear by God that there is nothing on the Earth dearer to me than taqiyah, my darling. God will raise the status of whomever practices taqiya, and God will abase whoever does not….”
