This file is essntially the contnts of the key note address delivered by Dr.S.Aravamudhan at the workshop on educational domains held at North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. A presentation file on ELearning can be found in these uploads. And certain aspects stressed earlier have been reinforced by the contents of recent publications in the Indian Journal of Open Learning.
