@th3m8ngtree people on PC play the space mmo EVE online and they can provide assistance to the ground forces that play on ps3 also people in the PC mmo hire people on ground to help them capture planets and such

whats with all the halo comparisons?
This is based off of the Eve Universe, which has been around since WELL before Halo even came out.
Its like people see a futuristic setting and think HURRR DDUURRRUFHFFASD HALO. Sci-fi has been a setting for countless amounts of movies, video games, and books. Just because It is set in the future in a science fiction setting doesn't mean its trying to rip off some subpar console shooter
