Yes, an important artist indeed. Question: how did you choose Riopelle for the subject of your video, as opposed to any other important artist?

We had to come up with an Influential Canadian figure. Everyone in my class had chosen scientists or athletes.. I decided to choose a painter. The real reason, though, was because I had just come back from a road trip across Quebec and I saw many art galleries and Riopelle used to paint the landscapes around there.
