Hi there, here is my 2008 e series that I got with alot of stuff including the 15ft hose which is really nice. The best thing Rainbow did with this unit is to make the floor tool bigger and build in a swivel neck instead of the old flimsy style. This machine has really good suction it suprised me alot when I got it. Anyways enjoy

  • How much did you pay?

  • @Kirbylover1600 $1,450.00

  • I bought my Rainbow 2 speed in 2006. The hepa filter on it is still brand new looking. I wonder if the emissions are only average on a Rainbow, wouldn't my hepa filter be filthy by now? It even smells new. I was kind of shocked. I change the water a lot when vacuuming though. The aquamate 3 looks like it would be great but I don't have one. That's gotta have a lot of extraction power with the Rainbow suction as opposed to the steam vacs that don't have a lot of extraction capability imo.

  • @Imfromaroundtheblock It probably is still new looking if you empty the water while cleaning since that motor is brushless it does not produce the black carbon dust that usually clogs hepa filters right away.

  • Abcrokid; so this is "just" an e2 with new decals? sounds less noisy than my parents e-series. going to get one... do you know what the retail is? the website has little information...

  • @shamrock1337tm Well the first two speed e series was Very very loud if they have that model. i paid 1,450 for mine.

  • My friend just bought a used SE model Rainbow with all of the original attachments for $350.00 and it is picking up sooooo much sand and dirt that his kirby vacuum simply could not pick up!!!! It sooooo cool to see how filthy the water gets! I urge every and anyone to get a Rainbow if they truly want their home to be FRESH and CLEAN!!!!

  • Get one!!!! I do not sell them, but have been aware of them since I was 5 years old (now 42 years old) If you really want your carpet and home to be FRESH and CLEAN....get one, regardless of the year or model. They are sooooo well constructed and the average life span is in excess of 20 years! They clean just as good when they are 20 years old as the day it was new because it NEVER loses air-flow, which is the true ability to clean. Hope this helps!:)

  • IM INTERESTING FOR YOU MACHING, IM LIVE IN CALI-COLOMBIA, MY CEL PHONE IS 052-321 8018694

  • I just opened up an E Series I bought to clean it out...I can't see how the carbon dust would get to the HEPA past the motor gasket. It's a pretty good seal. Good thing, too, as the previous owner did NOT change the water frequently, and the ductwork and fan were filled with dirt. The HEPA filter was a nasty khaki color. :P

I promise to take much better care of it than did he. :)

  • i got rainbow ^^
