I spent a lot of time on this & you watched it for free, so PLEASE comment (Say Anything), rate (2 Thumbs Up) & subscribe. I don't get paid to do this so return the favor.

This is a review of the best arcade coin-operated games year-by-year. "Puckman" (Namco) was released in 1980 in Japan and later that year in the USA as "Pac-Man" (Midway). The footage was emulated on MAME.

This is an alternative site for video game reviews on YouTube other than Classic Game Room - Incomcompany (CGR), The Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) who is also know as James the Nintendo Nerd (JNN) or Irate gamer. There is no cussing here or 8th grade humor. Biff brings you expert reviews and high quality videos.

  • what? screen splits at 255th level? you got that far?

  • @Jarad100 in some versions it does. and I never said I got that far without cheating. what are you talking about?

  • Miss PAC-man on my iPod..:)

  • @umbsix You know Midway was going to call it 'Miss Pac-Man' but a couple of the women there pointed out that in one of the scenes there is a baby Pac-Man. if they are not married, then you know what that makes the kid? In the early 1980s that would be scandelous so they changed the name to Ms. Pac-Man to indicate it's a woman that could be or could not be married.

  • this is a great video. damnit biff should have his own show, or be an official video game segment reporter for CNN or something.

  • @IAmClearlyTheBest you know, you could just do a search on the internet. Maybe wikipedia or mame or just in google.

  • @BiffsGamingVideos It's just that I can't get past the third level! I also can't imagine how boring it must be to endure that far!

  • I remember it was called Puckman in my English seaside town - so we must have imported in the Japanese machines.

  • @IAmClearlyTheBest You thought wrong. Sorry dude.

  • you are great!!!!

  • I think I would have perferred the F version, lol.

  • I did not know where I got the idea of a hockey puck. So, PacMan comes from some Japanese word meaning the motion of eating. I have heard about the tendency of the people to erase the part of the P. It is crazy that anyone would make a joke with the profane words.
