  • dear sircedric :) i have never tried adobe premiere, but since i know a thing or two about adobe photoshop, my guess is that the technique used here is:

    having two layers, one of the kid and one of the background. Using a mask (if that is used in premiere as well as photoshop) he cut away the background of

  • Use the magnetic lasso to select the object you want to zoom into. Once you've selected it, copy it, then delete it from the picture. You have to now fill in the background and try to match it. Save it under a new name. Now make a new file and paste the picture of your object into it and save it.

  • Open your video editing program then get the new picture you saved with the filled in background and put it in the background video track. Next put the picture of the object in the video track above the background. Use keyframes to zoom the object in and to zoom the background out.
