Hail from Russia!
Do you have in the USA any tracing computer systems to determine locomotives', cars' or containers' location?
-
Is the MBTA route form worcester union to south station usually have double stacks or singles?
-
Is the CSX train a GE U-series train commonly found in developing countries?

@AshHill07 But they use fossil fuels. However, Diesel engines are more fuel efficient.
-
@Trolleymoose They are on to make sure people know the train is there. (seems like you would notice a huge hunk of metal blasting its horn anyway)

Why does the train have its headlights on in the day? Stupid. Waste of electricity.

Track at the station looks pretty bad. Is that why they come into the stop so slow?

Well the current world record for a Diesel Train is recorded at 147.88 MPH set by the British Class 43 (HST 125) but to be honest does it really matter if the train can max out at over 200? I mean the line limit that these Diesel trains usually run on are between 110 and 125 MPH so if they replaced it with an electric one it would cost more and be just as fast. Also all Diesel trains routes are often cheeper to run (No power lines needed so no need to close the line to build/maintain them).
