not a good idea...you put that resistor as a bleeder but you dont have a capacitor to bleed instead...even you charge your phone the whole night i guess nothing will happen.....hahaha..

This is inefficient and stupid. That resistor wastes so much energy as heat. If you use a voltage regulator instead, you can use your batteries longer and do more charges.
