Whilst the band put away the growls - this album is so raw and unique. I remember in 2001 my last yr of highschool getting my drama class to here this and "they were like what the hec is this nonsense" - like I say raw album; needs time to understand the brillance of the overall album. Certainly for mine without doubt the most depressing and morbid fully clean vocalled album. As effective as any funeral doom album. Katatonia made this sub genre their own.

@666Marduk999 listen man first of all ... in comparison to some of the marduks performances live ... ill prefer to be an emo fag ... though im a huge black metal and marduk fan .... watch the throne of rats live performance ... ive seen em live they rule .. stop adding to our misery .... if we wanted to listen to glamour we would be on that vid .... anyhow .. be well man .. ull get eventually what im talking abt .... swearing wont make you realize ... be at peace

this was the first album i had ever heard by them,it stuck to me to where it was a form of meditation for me starting the long bright days...then came Murder brave day....................
