Just ordered 2 boxes of these and am looking forward to smoking them. Will wait maybe 3 months of storage in my humidor to test one out but I'd say I'd wait 1 1/2 years to consume as normal.
a simple answer to your question is with a aged cigar you lose some flavors but gain others , some people like how the cigar tastes in the begining so they tend to hurry up and smoke it while they are still young , most other cigars need aging to get rid of the bitter taste you get with a young cigar thats why most wait 1-2 years minimum , most boxes i buy are already 1year old to the date of the box to the current year and they are mostly very good to smoke , cuban partagas need more aging tho
@MrCohibaboy so then would u say that vintage cigars that have been aged more than 3 years have lost it's premium flavors? but isn't it that the older the cigar is the better as long as it was aged and stored properly? i am just looking for much much more details on the subject
@mbowler05 i understand you want to wait and let them age more , but what if you get hit by a bus tommorow lol you will never now what they tasted like and you will be a very angry ghost LOL
@64miguel the average is to wait 3 years minimum , maximum 5 years but personally i think you loose the key flavours in 5 years , so i would wait the 3 years , but im not that patient i will wait maybe 1 year minimum to whats written on the box.
