Version 8.1 of DaVinci Resolve for Mac is here: and interoperability is its' focus with support for Final Cut Pro X. Blackmagic Design has released 7 feature-rich updates to DaVinci Resolve in the last 7 months. Colorist and author Alexis Van Hurkman discusses the newest interoperability workflows made possible by their latest update, DaVinci Resolve 8.1, which adds round-trip support for Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro X. Hurkman goes on to demonstrate the many creative grading possibilities enabled by version 8.1's incorporation of composite modes inside of corrections.

Recorded live during the Second Annual Boston SuperMeet on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Stuart Street Playhouse, Radisson Hotel Boston.
