The glaciers of the Pamir mountains, which provide over 50% of Central Asia's water resources, are rapidly melting at a rate similar to Greenland's continental glacier. Three generations of of Pamiri women share the impacts of the melt and decreasing water levels.

thx for uploading this. Nothing is easy,,problems are exist always but all hope for bright future and this help us move forward. The Pamir people suffered from many problems but with the help of His Highness Aga Khan our Hazir Imam, life became easier and this led to socio economic of the region. Hope that changes will continue and the Pamir people themselves will contribute in that.
