Kenyas lower Eastern Province is known for being an arid land. It can barely sustain agriculture. One such afflicted place is Yatta district. Agriculture still remains the basic source of livelihood for Kenyans and people in this part of the country are no exception. But rainfall in Yatta has become rare and water is therefore scarce. How far do they go then in ensuring they harvest water to use domestically?
