The extended and remixed version of the Bruce Springsteen classic - Dancing In The Dark. Released in 1983, this version was remixed by Arthur Baker and was an attempt to bring Springsteen's music to a wider audience. It enjoyed moderate success and hit the number 7 spot the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart.
This recording is taken directly from my 12" record, hence the pops and crackles.

Something about Vinyl LP's that a CD can never get just right. Too tight, too synthetic with the range. LP's will always make the music sound genuine and timeless.....

@tamkukushka I kinda really agree with you. I especially hate the echo. That is what really ruined it for me. I also hate it when the back vocals repeat what Bruce just said. It is done for every line in the chorus and that is an incredibly useless part. I wish someone would remix the remix and take out those few things. But in all it is a generally good version.
