Sicko in South Carolina, Health Insurance Nightmare for Elly

The Democratic Club of Beaufort County South of the Broad, SOB's, hosted a fundraiser and community showing of Michael Moore's film Sicko at the Coligny Theatre on Monday January 7 with a wine & cheese reception. This fundraiser is on behalf of the Elly Bachman Snakebite Fund and your contributions are gratefully appreciated. The Club hosted this event to support the Bachman family and to bring attention to the growing health care crisis in America. Also, visit this site if you are interested on the family's insurance coverage and subsequent exclusions. There was no charge for this event and the SOB's raised $1,607 for the Fund.
