The government is moronic, why would they not allow responsible people to own guns. If you're respectful & mindful of the law & willing to go through all the process of getting a gun what's the issue. Its not like anyone can't get a gun. Its easier for me here in Canada to get a gun illegally in a matter of hours, than it is to get one legally. We definitely have idiots in politics & this goes for the whole world.

@soccom8341576 You may be a person who wants to lord over others, but there are those of us who only want to be left alone... and to insure that is the case, we are willing to fight for everyone's liberty so that our own may be secure. If elected to office... my goal would only be to reduce the size of government... to fire any and all government workers who's job could not be directly justified under the exact words of the Constitution... not some lawyer's interpretation of it.

If you don't recognize this quote, it was made by the man who said "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!" I don't know where you stand, but I stand with him on this!

@countryfuntime - The United States Humane Society has NOTHING to do with animals. They use that name so that people will think they are about bring kind to animals. It is another front group for the leftist tyranny/NWO initative that hides in so many organizations these days. Before you give money to anybody, check out the organization on line and see who finances them. Follow the money back to George Soros and similar NWO figures in a LOT of cases.
