Where did you get that pic of the entire band? I took that picture (my brother is the guitar player on the left.) I don't remember putting it on the internet anywhere...

Anyway, my brother wrote the music for the song, Somber and DC wrote the lyrics...just wanted to give him a shout out about that one-it's my fave off of this little CD they recorded way back when...

@cougar40n Well, it wasn't a graduation song, but it was used for the Senior Class Video that BSSHS did every year. I graduated two years later, so I don't have a copy of the video, but they showed it on the TVs in the school on the last day for the senior class, so I did get to see it.

Bobby Kerr is now the Paul Stanley in a Kiss cover band called "Almost Kiss".

This is one of my favorite Axium songs. Love most of the Axium catalog. Amazing especially in light of how young they all were.

Okay, 19E seriously needs to do some kind of re-release of the Axium albums, even if there WAS another Axium band hanging around a couple of years ago (which can complicate things, admittedly) even if it's just some kind of compilation album. This was a very important time for David musically and shows the growth he'd gone through throughout the years.

Plus, it's untapped market potential, they could make some decent money off it.

I agree about this song -- simple but beautiful. I assume it was a high school graduation song -- seems appropriate. But even back then, everything fell into place -- great melody, touching lyrics, but not too sweet -- and a striking, original ending. Can't wait to hear the new songs you're working on now David!

This is one of my favorite David Cook songs. Can't believe how young these guys were when they wrote it. There is something so simple yet so beautiful about it that it's hard not to be touched. Sometimes I wonder if Cook realizes how brilliant some of his pre-idol songs are. This song would be a hit if released now.
