I am a long time fan of the Pogues and saw them in thier prime in 88 when I was 15. Shane sounds better now than then. The rest of the boys are tight asd hell.

It's not just you. I've heard an improvement in his voice this year. When I saw them live months ago, I was pleasantly surprised at his voice! He just seemed healthier altogether. Longer he lives, the longer our entertainment lasts (not too sound shallow but...)

I'd say it'll take him a while gettin used to having teeth again, but I don't think he'll ever be as good as he was in the late 80s.
