  • @macree01 If you've seen the whole movie, you'd know that earlier in the movie, a kid named Lou Russ joined the marching band, and he wanted to play electric guitar for it. Then we found out later that he died in the war. I guess they had the guitar in there as a tribute to him.

  • Okay, whats with the annoying back beat and usage of electric guitars ? That just kind of took away from the whole thing for me.

  • @gmichali I don't think that's true. She could slapped with misappropriation of funds. Just because governor doesn't mean she snaps her fingers and send tax money to a particular school for a particular thing.

    And also, deaf people doesn't appreciate people having a pity on them. I am one of them, because when we lost one sense, we always find way around our limits and we have NO limits of doing anything we wish to do! That's why when someone said something so pitiful, it is discrimination against us. We always go through many of discrimination in our lives, because these people don't understand anything about deaf people and their lives.

    And oh one more thing, deaf people also can listen to music in their own way by feeling the vibrates and other ways. There is always ways that deaf people come up to actually understand the music and how much someone pour into the music.

    this movie. And when someone, like WatchHawk said this "I feel so bad for his freaking son. The poor guy can't hear what his dad worked on for 30 years.", is exactly what people do.. and that is 'assume' that his son would never appreciate music that his father worked hard for 30 years. This is exactly why I must stand up and tell him that it is ignorant thing to say, period. My older brother write his own many songs and I am able to fully appreciate his music, just like
