*days later*
I woke up and got dressed Nick was picking
up Ben, he is going back to LA and asked if
Ben could go with him for a week I of course
said yes I already kept him away for two years
of his life I'm not about to say no I walked into
the kitchen when I heard the door bell I quickly
walked over to it and opened it
"Hey" he said
I smiled "Hey" I stepped aside and he walked
inside and stopped in the living room
"where's Benjamin?" his the only one that calls
him by his full name
"um he is still sleeping, if you want I can wake
him up if your in a hurry?" I said
he shook his head "no don't, it's fine I'll just
wait" he sat on the couch
as you can see nothing is fix just yet between
us and I decided I'm not going to bring up the
subject of "us" anymore Nick doesn't hate me
but I've hurt him to deep that I'm learning to
deal with the feeling and reality that he might
not forgive me and we are not going to be together
again ever
"do you want coffee?" he looked up at me
he nodded "alright sure thanks"
we both walked into the kitchen I poured some
into a coffee mug and handed in to him and I
got one for myself, the thing I hate the most is
that when ever we are together now none of us
knows what to say and it kills me!
"so what's going to happen in LA?" I decide to
break the silence
he looked at me "I'm actually ganna have my
record release party" he smiled as he said it
"really! that's great are you sure Ben can go
with you?" I asked
"of course he can, I want him to be there with
me" he smiled again
"you know Nick I'm really happy for you every
thing that is going on you deserve it" I smiled
I couldn't control or hold myself back from saying
it that it came out like word vomit "I love you"
He kept his eyes on me without saying anything I
looked away "I'm sorry I shouldn't..."
"I love you too" I heard him say
then we heard his little voice "Daddy!" he ran up
to him and Nick lifted him up "ready to go have
some fun in LA" Nick told him and Ben smiled
"Nick you better call me as soon and you guys get
there let's just say call me every 10min to make
sure he is okay!" he shook his head and smiled
"Lena is going to be okay so relax I'm his dad not
a stranger"
I took a deep breath "alright" I turned to look at Ben
and gave him a kiss "I love you monkey" then I
turned to look at Nick "see you in a week" I smiled
I gave him a quick hug and when we pulled away
he surprised me by pecking my lips with his, he
smiled and they both walked out the door a smiled
crept on my face at least we are getting somewhere
now and he said he still loves me!
*3 days later*
me and Taylor sat on the living room couch waiting
for the press coverage of Nick's party to come out on
E! when it finally started my heart started racing Nick
and Ben are going to be on TV!
"Benny is going to be famous, hopefully
he still likes me when he comes back" Taylor
said I looked at him and rolled my eyes
"be mature please!" I turned my eyes back
to the tv
when I saw them get out the Limo my heart
sank to my stomach Nick walked out without
Ben in his arms but the person that was carrying
him was none other than "DEMI" what the hell
Nick never told me she was going, he never told
me he still talked to her and he knows how much
I hate her and he has the nerve to let her hold
Ben and for her to look like his mother!
