The Passing World

A film I quickly chucked together for a local 'most artist short' competition, it's rubbish, but it won! Took footage out of a train window between Derby and London with a filter effect so only green showed up, all other colours were desaturated. Overlayed some quotes just to make it a bit less tedious. Music by Explosions in the Sky ((Magic Hours)).

great song. you're right this is rubbish. you left your camera on in the train and then chroma keyed the footage. throw some cross fades and random text and here you go. the ending quote is good, but you wasted everyones time by showing the same stuff for like 5 minutes with only green. watch pleasantville or schindler's list to see a good example of dramatic color isolation.
