  • This is one of the best movies ever made.

  • I remember my first 'name' for this movie - 'genius' - nothing less, nothing more. Its visual and intellectual impact is overpowering and I think it's really worth to rethink it again and again, even now - over 20 years from its birth.

  • And for those wondering, YES, the whole film is full of this pretentious, lofty, wank talk.

  • @tinpotts Art can't be pretentious. The interpretation of it can be.

  • well i hope it's good as they say.. i'm about to watch it.. for the first time!

  • Pretentious rubbish. Four minutes thirty eight seconds of this was more than enough! Certainly couldn't watch the whole thing, anti-Africa or not!

  • @raccoongirl100 I read the original comment now and I can't help but agree with you. As Europeans began to invade, Africa had little to envy Europe in various aspects.

  • the arcade scene is awesome!

  • @tranarchy000 This is just the very beginning. The whole thing is about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

  • is this the whole thing? or only part of it?

  • I never get sick of watching this film, no matter where I start or finish.

  • @raccoongirl100 don't think I ever said that Africa was one country?! I have lived in 9 different counties so Im sure I know more about different cultures than you, I dont need to read, I live them... i doubt you have ever lived outside of the united states...and If unspoiled means the highest murder, crime rates and aids percentages, then I'll take spoiled ones anyday.... and the statement that the world is repressing africa is tiring, great culture rise on there own.
