I don't use the bible as proof of God, i use it as evidence that if the "stories" were true, then God is a complete and utter cunt. Not to mention it is THE most contradictory book i have ever placed eyes on. It's like someone dribbled ink onto a page.

@finalsmasher Not true. A deist believes there is a deity. If there is objective proof, there would be no reason to believe anything. We would have knowledge. Semantics, but I think this time it's actually important.

What i find funny , is when someone quotes the bible , you can find verse they don't agree with and ignore . When even the most devout believers dismiss large sections of a book they profess to be good , an perfect , it makes the whole thing null and void .

"there's no objective proof that a god exists." You're right, but here's the thing. If there was, it wouldn't change a thing. Objective proof of a god (not a specific entity, mind you) would only turn most atheists into deists or non-religious theists. At which point the same Christians who called you a God-denier would quote their Bible at you and call you a heretic or heathen or a believer in a false god. If Yahwah were proven to exist, they'd bash you for your denomination. It will never end.

Excellent points as always. To answer your question in the video: I am an Atheist that has been accused of being a God denier. I have been dumbfounded trying to search for a reasonable response to people like this. Its so obvious. Thank you for articulating it.
