Dinosaur Planet is possibly the biggest N64 departure. Thought to be one of the last Nintendo 64 killer-apps, the Rare developed adventure was cancelled for N64 and moved to GameCube with some huge changes. Apart from the amazing graphical upgrades, Dinosaur Planet now stars characters from Nintendo's popular Star Fox franchise and has fittingly been redubbed Star Fox Adventures

I'm happy with Stafox Adventures as it is and the new characters it introduced. But I'm curious of how Dinosaur planet would of been like, particularly with Krystal being more of a main character.

why do a lot of people hate star fox adventures. sure it wasn't a classic like star fox 64, but it was a fun adventure game. just because it has the name doesn't means it has to be the same shit over and over. it was a zelda clone but it was fun to play. i think that even though it got the star fox name slapped on it, they did keep a lot of the things in the trailer.

@Arkus I share this opinion 100%. Star Fox Adventures is one of the best games ever made. It got a bit rushed since they turned it into Star Fox late in development, but still, it is amazing.

This good looking game for the n64 turned into the best starfox game in the series, and i can only remind you that critics nowadays only talk about formula and new features dat bullshit or else its a dissapointing game or game could be better in 2008..(dats what gt's goty said about skyward sword) and Adventures took the risk on foot! later new ideas with guns, landmasters and arwing mix in Assault. that makes this game so awesome ;) i wish a new Star Fox Adventures for Wii U!

i still dont get how would the switch stone would have worked out either the player would have switched characters as an option or by storyline like in starfox adventures?

@VideoGamerSmith Another reason why they canceled this game. Was because Fox and Sabre were too similar. So they replace Sabre. And made Fox Mcloud to be the main character in the game. Instead of Krystal and Sabre. Even though this game got canceled. It turned in to Star Fox Adventure.

The Reason Why Dinosaur Planet Got Cancelled Is Because The Nintendo 64 Was Almost Done. By That I Mean Nintendo Was About To Move On To The Next Sytem. Conker's Twelve Tails / Quest Was Cancelled Because People Gave It Criticism For Being a Kids Game Like Banjo.
