MAROUBRA - Graffiti attack @ LEXO & surrounds May June 09 FINAL

Who doesn't like a nice relaxing stroll? Come on down to Maroubra: to the area most locals know as LEXO. So are our graffitists good at what they do or particularly bad? No budding artists I'm afraid. I've seen those chimpanze painting better with their feet. What a shame. A waste of our time to have to see it at all and what an example of tantruming by kids much older than two!!

I lived in Maroubra for 10 years your video says it all,i was forever cleaning graffiti off the walls cleanig up their mess... in the end i moved to a clean suburb.

that's not the case. South maroubra has a large portion of new apartments and developments in the last past 5 years. These residents pay up to 5-8 times the average cost of rent in housing commission. If some kids in these housing commission elsewhere in sydney can stay out of trouble then I dont see the kids in lexo doing the same.

fine the parents as in deducting these fines from there center link payments. Hit them hard where it hurts the most-financially. Like the parents are going to enforce thier kids to clean their grafitti when they cant stop them in the first place.

what funny is that they did have a youth centre smack bang in the middle of lexo than not surprisingly the stupid retarded street kids who live there smashed up the place and now its closed. Yep typical story of lexo.

The rent is cheap because its government housing thats the whole point, the area around them shouldnt mattter as that area is for people with housing troubles

Why, its not the parents fault that their children have grown up in a culture most older dont understand, fining the parents is just gonna mean the kids get off free! The only thing that would work is making them clean off their own work, nothing worse to a graffiti artist than their work been removed, let alone by themselves.
