In this video I am really focusing on shifting my weight with my hips instead of my upper body. In other videos of me walking you will see that I lean to the direction of the leg that is going to be planted so I can unweight my other leg to free it up to take a step. An able body person does this weight shift with their hips which is what I am attempting here. You will notice how much nicer my steps are and how my feet clear much more easily. All my trainer is doing is holding my shoulders as a reminder for me to keep them relaxed and she is helping me keep my upper body still so I focus on my hips.
