The California Army National Guard is currently seeking candidates for the Special Forces unit based out of Orange County, Ca. The ideal candidate should have the desire to become a member of the most elite fighting force in the world.   • I won't complain. If they can pass the Star more power to them. I want to see a 5'2" 105 pound hottie running with a 110 pound pack trying to make time between each point on the course.

  • Ya i agree. SF is one of our most elite units, they cant train just once a month! they need to be training like Active Duty

  • I live I'n California close to orange county I'm I'n yolo county but I don't know wat to choose either the MARINES or SPECIAL OPS because I want to be a sharpshooter. Idk which to choose anyone wanna help me out?

  • @Selino25 they pretty much do train active duty. Trust me, it's more than 1x a month.

    You can transfer to another guard unit in another state. But there were no Special Forces units in Wyoming were I moved to. And I was not interested in going into a Artillery or Engineer unit.

  • @thomas1016 if you really liked it that much they could have worked something closer for you! Cause i am moving out of state and they are just moving my drills to a new location!

    I was in the 1/19th from 1980 - 86, One of the best times of my life. If my Job haddn't taken me further away from monthly drills I would have stayed.
