I just love this video - I play it with the audio turned up LOUD. Love the old GEs.

Indeed these were the ones. This is where these 4 axles, 3900 bhp beasts were at their best. If you ask me, they are pretty clumsy in their actual job, being overwheight, overpowered and take an eternity to load...

BOTH painted units and an LMX splice! Outstanding catch! I like these B-boats, though I understand that MMA did not. Haven't most of them been sold off now?

5 of the B39-8e have been sold. To replace these too heavy beasts, MMA bought 6 B23-7 from the BNSF. Thanks for the kind comments guys!
