  • ...and maybe you'll treat me like you ...

  • @kmgcatcousin we are omnivores... but we are not animals who live only on instinct.. we can think and reason on what is wrong and right and slaughtering animals in the way that we do it WRONG. and yes plants are living... but they dont have a central nervous system and dont feel pain if they were kicked and beaten by humans.. and then scalded alive -__-

  • I like relating this song to the issues of life and how people choose others to take their emotions out on but that's probably because I have a hard time not eating meat... But I dislike how animals are treated for that "luxury" in life.

  • being a veggi is not hard ive been doing it for 9 years ... sometimes i wish that people got the same treatment as the animals :) that would amuse me js :S

  • @TrueEnergizerBunnies

however, i hope you'll be a vegetarian soon

it's easier than you think ;)

  • @CrashEddie7 I understand that and I wish it didn't happen, but people are too cruel and would rather eat a baby animal with no developed muscles than an adult and sacrafice a bit of taste. By baby animals I meant veal and lamb which are slaughtered as little as 2 days after birth.

  • @TrueEnergizerBunnies

if you really don't want to eat baby animals then it's gonna be hard for you, because the animals we eat are slaughtered at a very young age:

chickens for example can live up to 20 years, but the are killed at the age of 6-8 weeks

  • @TrueEnergizerBunnies I have sent a personal message to you now.

  • @snowtreeman You can send them in a private message. That would be great. I'm acutally working to cut alot of things out of my diet. I will not eat baby animals such as veal and lamb and I'm cutting dairy out of my diet since i found out it involves killing baby animals. The only meats I really eat anymore are pork (rarely), beef, chicken, turkey, and shrimp (rarely).

  • @TrueEnergizerBunnies Okay, i hope you someday take the step to becoming veg. It's so much easier than you think. I thought it was impossible to becoming vegan, cause what really would you eat? But when i took the step i realised how much more food there is. And theres a fake substitute for almost every meat. Bacon, hot dogs, hamburgers etc. Try eating a vegan dinner a week, and you will be suprised of how easy and great tasteing it can be. I can post some usefull links if you want me to?

  • @snowtreeman I completely agree with you. You cannot own a life and should not treat them like objects. It has been proven that animals feel pain and are much more intellegant than we think. My comments above are simply a way to meet in the middle between meat eaters and vegans. I like how you think and I hope we can remain friends.

  • @TrueEnergizerBunnies I think that society soner or later will adopt a veg diet, but it will take time. (The amount of veg. people is increasing all the time) What gives us the right to deprive their lives? the moral question isn't about the slaughter ways, it's about that we don't have the right to take their lifes. Just as we don't have the rigth to take a human life, because you can't own a life. yourself is the only individual that has the right to choose if you want to live or die.
