BHala is right: Miami University was a college while Florida was still owned by Spain.
The MU marching band is one of the best in the midwest, OSU included!

Yes - we lost a bunch of games that year - that was Tim Rose's final year I believe. I had a good friend in the band (1988-92), he played sousaphone, was named Brad and from Wisconsin - can't remember his last name.

Canefan, as the saying goes, Miami University was already a college before Florida became a state. You can have your coked-up football team. That's all you're known for.

As a band member who just graduated last year, this was really cool to see. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you! That pregame is very close to the one I marched in Jack's 2nd & 3rd year. While the video may not be great, the audio was better than another recent pre-game recording.
It was also nice to see the respect allowing the UC band on the field. Despite a being a strong rival, the sportsmanship of the bands is great!
