i think you did good job in trying but personally i dont fly hang gliders.I fly planes but soon i wanna do hang gliding. anyways, it seems like you couldve just landed somewhere else, i could tell in the second to last turn your wing wasnt gonna take another man.

WOW I am glad you are ok I have been flying for 12 years and it looks like some people already posted this regarding your approach. You need to make S turns down wind from your landing zone start setting but between 500-700 feet. It you ever get into a spin you need to pull in then shift your weight to the other side. Stay safe and have fun

@Ikarus1015 LOL i started taking hand gliding classes B/c of this. i thought it was "safer" choice to fly.

Watch the tell tale on the nose wire go full left then full right as the spin develops.. cool!. I can't believe you didn't take out the downtubes.. Maybe moving the hang point full forward would be helpful while you work at that energy management thing in the near term

beautiful approach turn stall

Mr. dear Ikarus1015
I FlyAssy is also on the AEROS CombatL13 of the same design.
The west side of Mt.Fuji and Asagiri Highland are home area.
Please come to visit, when you come to Japan.

WOW ! That didn't look like a spin, it looked like you spiraled into the ground. Did you get injured ? That water landing probably saved your life.

Nice ground launch. What was the wind speed that day ?
HOW ABOUT A PARAGLIDE ? FORGET HANGLIDE

@craudiojcgaliazzi
NO WAY.
I will never get into a flying machine which has no stiff parts at all.
Besides there are about three times more paraglider crashes on youtube than hang glider.
Think of it

Is clear you have to thanks God in the skies, but also in that cushioned floor which received you!!! A "last-second-maneuver" must be kept to resolve accidental situations (e.g. a stalling, and so on) and not to keep a fussy landing zone. You spent your "Last-second" and "last-chance" maneuver trying to correct your landing point hooking the turn. But hook turns cost high but also speed and, then, it didnt respond as quick as you expected when siding your legs and pushing the bar, is it right?

@leogagliardigmail
The problem is, if you stall the glider it won`t respond to any turninginput until it hast enough speed again.
And pushing the bar was my last despaired try to slow down the glider.
But soon I will upload some other videos with a more advanced flying and landing technic.

If you don't mind me saying so, the issue here is a shit awful approach, 360 ing right down to the ground is probably the worst possible way of landing!
If you are uncomfortable doing a classic downwind, cross wind, finals approach try being about 250 metres off to the side when 360 ing down - pull out at about 1-100 - 150 feet and you have a nice crosswind, final turn approach which is miles safer (and easier) than the one you used. - Good Luck

@armandin2048
I don´t mind at all
I know this was probaly the worst way to approach a landing.
But i denfinitely learned from this mistake.
