Just 10 days before he died, Ben courageously shared his thoughts about suffering, death and his confident hope of heaven. For a transcript of Ben's talk email david245@cyg.net. For more information about Ben's battle with leukemia email lisa245@cyg.net.

  • Every time I watch this I am very aware that I am watching a miracle right before my very eyes. God called Ben to do this...and then gave Him the supernatural strength to actually do it! Now we watch for the miracle of hearts and lives changed for eternity!

  • AMEN((: R.I.P WE LOVE YOU BEN SUCH A SWEET SOUL U HAVE

  • It would be so hard to make that speech

  • RIP Ben!! I look forward to meeting you one day!

  • @Tantoin, ever read the book of Job? Those in Christ are refined by fire!

  • :)

  • wow, seeing this touched my heart.. What a brave young man & a man who lived for God...no longer suffering on earth & now at home living with his heavenly father

  • That was a very touching speech, im sorry about or loss

  • "suffering is a way of connecting people"

That is the best reason I have ever heard on finding any meaning in earthly suffering. I personally don't believe there is a reason for suffering beyond that we are still affected by living in a sinful world until Jesus returns and changes it, but that comment helps to know that (at least sometimes) suffering can bring people together to share love and friendship in this earthly life which may not have happened had suffering not brought them together

  • This has to be one of the most stirring speeches i have ever heard. I did not know Ben but i do know that what he did there probably took an enormous amount of strength and courage. Thank you Ben.
