you should use track motion to one of your eyes so that the mask will follow along with you.

having been on gentoo for [ever]... i never got to run stable and eventually never compiled for dependancies... i hope to try this again on a stable build.

I was THRILLED to find your video!!
The kids are big Annoying Orange fans (me, not so much!) & were asking how it was made but they lost their enthusiasm when they saw the sticker price for AE.
Since then, been looking for FLOSS software which could do the same like KDEnlive which I use & Blender which I have but whose curve is steep.
I google around, found this video & that CInelerra is my answer.
Just installed Cinelerra a few mins ago & will be trying it out this week.
Kids will be thrilled.

@vlada: Yeah, I did this a while ago in Cinelerra, but the nest version of Kdenlive has this ability now. Kdenlive v0.8 which may now be in the reposes for most distros yet, but it should be soon. Or you can add reposes from the Kdenlive site.

0:07 is your wrist ok now?
leonlim2008 1 year ago
@leonlim2008: Yeah, this was a while ago. If you watch some of my earlier tutorial I'm in a sling. I tore my Bicep in Karate back in October. Because my bicep was so week I was over working my wrist when lighting stuff and it started to hurt pretty bad. So, I just rapped it up for a while to try and support it. I'm 95% better now, and probably as good as I'm going to get.
Getting old :)
Thanks for asking.
