@Jubal24, "honky" and "muddy" are technical terms for audio professionals. Tinny was another he used. They all refer to the texture and strength of a certain frequency range.
i understand about harmonics and fundementals (i think), but what do you mean when you say "the fundementals below the harmonics can be an octave above"?
